PARENTS INVITED TO EXCEPTIONAL
STUDENT EDUCATION CONFERENCE

September 13, 2012

Are you a family member of a child with a disability?  Collier County Public Schools’ Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Sharing the Commitment Advisory invites you to a free one-day conference on Saturday, September 22nd from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Gulf Coast High School (7878 Sharks Way).

The conference, in partnership with the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS), will offer a variety of training, education, and networking opportunities for parents.  Come learn ways to increase family and school collaboration, and find out what strategies your children’s teachers will be using in the classroom so you can support participation at home, in school, and in the community!

Interested parents are encouraged to check out a description of each of the day’s workshops online by visiting www.collierschools.com/ese.  This website also offers online registration – available through Friday, September 21st.  Registration may also be done via phone.

To learn more, register, or obtain online support, please contact FDLRS Coordinator Theresa Bowen at 337-8127 or Sylvia Santana at 377-0108.
