BARRON COLLIER GIRLS LACROSSE PLAYER COMMITS
February 27, 2013

Barron Collier junior, Anna Browne has verbally committed to play Division I college lacrosse for Liberty University located in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Anna will be playing for head coach Regan Denham who started the program in 2010. “Over the years I have played multiple sports and three years ago I decided to concentrate on lacrosse with the hopes that I could get to the next level. I'm so happy that my hard work has paid off and that I'm able to play Division 1 lacrosse at Liberty University. I want to thank all of my coaches and especially Coach Chris Claussen for his support. At Liberty I'm hoping to study nursing and to continue improving my lacrosse skills.” said Browne

“Anna is one of the quickest and toughest players you will see on the field. She is tenacious and her motor never stops. She has a small frame, but don’t let that fool you. She does not back down from anyone and uses her quickness and lacrosse IQ to her advantage. We mark her on the other team’s top attacker and Anna consistently comes out on top.” said Barron Collier Head Coach, Chris Claussen.

Liberty competes in the Big South Conference, which includes Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Davidson, High Point, Longwood, Presbyterian and Winthrop University.
